As we all know (Well at least I would hope…), being a porn star isn’t your typical or easiest day job… We expose our most intimate relationships and our bodies for none other than the pleasure of our viewers, and don’t get me wrong I LOVE MY JOB, but being that I’m so new, I’m still having to adjust.
On a daily basis I get judged by who I am as a person by what I do for a job and quite frankly I think it’s BULLS%&#!
My job comes with a lot of criticism… From viewers, from blog writers, from fans, friends/family and even from society itself. So along with that comes the pressure of making sure everyone is satisfied or pleased.
No one knows why me or any other PORN STAR has chosen to do porn, or why we need the money and it actually just kinda sucks that these people that don’t even know me other than from what they see on their computer screens, are so quick to judge and stereotype me into this ridiculous image.
1. All PORN STARS are SLUTS and will sleep with ANYONE.
2. All PORN STARS have diseases.
3. All PORN STARS have no Self- Respect and are Stuck Up.
Or my favorite of them all:
4. PORN STARS will never be able to find a BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND that will be able to respect their job.
I’m going to be real for a second… I too have thought each one of those thing’s before starting in this industry and let me say that I stand corrected. I have met some of the hottest models in the industry and they have been exactly the opposite. Like TOMMY DEFENDI, such a total teddy bear, Pierre Fitch such a down to Earth hopeless romantic, and even the Bel Ami boys.
& yes it’s a little harder finding a guy that will respect my job… okay A LOT, but I mean it’s part of the package deal I guess… Because of these stereotypes these guys have already this image as to who I am…
But this is why I started this site, I wanted to make sure my image of who I was NEVER was sacrificed for what I do for work cause realistically the only thing that ever changed since I started in this industry was MY NAME, nothing else.
